Spielberg and I shot Super 8!

No, I wasn't the cinematographer on Steven Spielberg's new movie, Super 8. But he and I did shoot Kodak's Super 8 formatted home movie film back in the 1970s. Recently, I found a fellow who could transfer all of my old home movies to DVD discs, something my kids have been after me to do for a long time. I gave Gary Hellerstedt of Moorhead, Minn. (701-371-2648) the whole boxful of films and he came back with four DVDs. All done at a very reasonable rate! I write about this in this Wordchipper column: Spielberg and I shot Super 8. Talk about a walk down memory lane. My grandkids are shocked that Grandpa was ever that young!
