Meeting Capt. Robert ("Bob") Miller, aviator extraordinaire!

Saluting Captain Bob!  And f you're at all interested in aviation, you'd really enjoy knowing him. Bob Miller not only had a 40,000-hour career as captain for a major airline, he a U. S. Air Force and Viet Nam veteran. The plane shown above he built from a kit and won the top award in its category at the AirVenture Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 2007. He flies it today whenever he can take-off from the airport named in his honor and that he worked to get off the ground (pardon the pun) and is named in his honor: The Casselton (N. Dak.) Robert Miller Regional Airport. Capt. Bob also builds full-scale model aircraft like the Messerschmitt, the classic WWII fighter used by the German Luftwaffe.
