Mia meets little Abbi and news about some "international" pooches

"Hey, kid, " says Mia, the elder, to the new puppy, Abbi, "Welcome to the family, but let me teach you a few things about living here. We'll start with some news about the invisible fence you can feel."  Abbi has joined our Florida kids for a real dog's life in the tropical sunshine. Lots to learn about laying by the pool and soaking up the rays. She's lucky to have two-year-old Mia to teach her about her new surroundings. (March, 12, 2011). And (below) Abbi meets a new friend that has something she wants!

June 18, 2011.  Here's the latest on the dogs shown below: of the most recent litter of seven, six are sold (two coming to the U. S., one to Austria and three have been sold to an owners in Holland). This leaves only one yet unsold. Click here to view the dog breeder's website. Boukje owns 4 adults and has bred and trained goldens for years. Her dogs are bred and trained mostly for bird hunting.

This report and photos come to us from my good friend and high school classmate, Capt. John Manstrom (Ret.) from Delta Airlines. He currently resides in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, and is a friend of Boukje. I appreciate your report, John, and thanks to both of you for the photos, used here with permission.
